In this session, Cathy shares a simple but effective story plan for all ages. Discover a short-story planning visual that emphasizes the shape of a riveting story, the critical order of planning, and the necessity of a clear story-specific problem. From there, Cathy moves into how to build exciting middles, and how to reach solutions that truly satisfy the reader. Teachers will step into the student role as they first plan a story, then assume the role of the teacher as they conference and respond to these story plans at different stages.
