Join Calgary Public Library’s Newcomer Librarian for a showcase of appropriate resources for ELL students to engage them in a rich environment appropriate for every reading and comprehension level. Discover ways to find the perfect book for your ELL students including the importance of identifiers and appeal factor. Find ways to get children excited about reading, gain confidence and increase literacy. Participants will also learn about free Library programs and online resources to support ELL learners and their families inside and outside of school.
