Canadian Museum for Human Rights Symposium

It all starts with a question: as an upstander how will you take a stand against injustice? Students using the Canadian Museum for Human Rights’ new online learning resource Be an Upstander will develop a foundational understanding of human rights and human rights defenders. Students will share their learning by creating exhibits and taking tangible action for human rights. Through stories of students’ discoveries and successes, this session will preview the Be an Upstander suite of resources, including the student website, teaching guide and virtual field trip. Experience it today at www.humanrights.ca/upstander.
