Leighton Art Centre

At the Leighton Art Centre, nature is our inspiration, our  classroom, and our playground! Located 30 minutes south-west of Calgary we are situated on 80 acres of breathtaking Foothills landscape. Our on-site Art & Nature Field Trips guide students to connect to the natural world and heritage through art making. Our programs promote visual literacy, thoughtful observation, critical thinking and 

guide students to draw inspiration from the landscape.  Our in-school Art 2 Go! programs bring our expertise into your classroom and give your students the opportunity to explore and create through an engaging art lesson.
