The Elementary Woodshop

The Elementary Woodshop provides fun and engaging woodworking kits and workbooks for elementary classrooms across Canada. Developed and manufactured by a woodworking teacher these projects are pre-cut and pre-drilled for a successful building experience.

Trade careers are the foundation of any community; our homes, our schools and our businesses are all built by tradespeople. At The Elementary Woodshop we are passionate about introducing students to trade careers at a young age. Our program offers an opportunity for students to develop valuable skills while learning about trade careers - before they enter high school.

Working with an Indigenous Education Resource Teacher we have integrated Aboriginal Perspectives and Knowledge with each of our projects, giving students an opportunity to discuss the culture of their local First Peoples while creating their project. Our workbooks for the Grade 5, Grade 6 and Grade 7 projects are also available in French.

The Elementary Woodshop has a series of YOUTUBE videos designed for teachers with no woodworking experience. We are here in our shop waiting to hear from you - give us a call at 1-778-441-1575 or email us at: info@theelementarywoodshop Enjoy the convention!

The virtual room join links will be shown here a few minutes before the session start time.
