Essentials of our Energy Ecosystem

A new resource for high school Social and Science teachers to engage students in critical thinking about energy and the environment.

We engaged teachers, education professionals and energy experts to develop a video and supporting learning materials to address the growing demand for energy with the need to balance environmental impacts and quality of life. The free material is aligned with Alberta Social and Science curriculums.

This animated video challenges students to think critically about:

- How can we balance access to energy to advance quality of life while protecting the environment?

- What kinds of future technology and innovations could impact energy use and environmental protection?
