School Leadership Quality Standard

Learn the skills you need to be a principal or superintendent. We offer two online programs for Alberta certified teachers or education professionals who want to be leaders in the Alberta education system:

• School Leadership Quality Standard Program, for aspiring school principals
• Superintendent Leadership Quality Standard Program, for aspiring superintendents

Explore the competencies and indicators required of school leaders in Alberta, and achieve the requirements for Leadership Quality Standard (LQS) certification. The instructors in this program are principals and superintendents who have extensive experience and expertise in leadership roles in the Alberta education system.
