Journey 2050
Journey 2050 is a free educational experience for grades 4-9. Journey 2050 takes students on a virtual simulation exploring world food sustainability, engaging and empowering students to think deeper and understand their impact on the world around them. The program is delivered virtually or in-person through our field school and guest speaking opportunities.

OH Ranch Education Program
The OH Ranch is one of Alberta’s most historic properties, and remains an authentic working cattle ranch. Explore topics of sustainability, ecosystem management, environmental stewardship, Alberta history and culture, and more at the Calgary Stampede’s OH Ranch. The program provides direct connections to Grade 4, 5, and 6 Science and Social Studies curriculum through unique, interactive, and authentic learning experiences. Engage and empower your students to think deeper, develop connections to their community and understand their impact on the world around them.
A limited number of sessions are available each spring and fall for classes from the Calgary and surrounding area.

Stampede School
Stampede School is an immersive educational experience for students in grades 1 to 12 that relocates their classroom to Stampede Park. In their new setting, students and teachers experience deep and innovative learning and make connections to history, agriculture, Indigenous traditions and cultures, and western heritage and values. Students are surrounded by western artifacts, unique cultures, equine classmates, and intriguing guest speakers. Stampede School, a Campus Calgary site, is inquiry-based, innovative, and focused on hands-on experiences. Each class’ week-long experience is customized to fit their particular curriculum and individual needs.

AGGIE DAYS 2022
AGGIE DAYS - A FREE EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN
The Calgary Stampede extends an invitation to Southern Alberta teachers and their students to attend Aggie Days. Aggie Days is an excellent opportunity for students, Grade 3 through Grade 6, to learn more about Alberta's agricultural industry. There is no charge to participate in this program.
Agriculture is Canada's leading industry, employing one third of our work force. It is important for students to find out what is happening "out on the farm" and how agriculture impacts our daily lives. The displays and interactive activities, hosted by industry organizations and volunteers, are designed to help your students learn more about Alberta's agricultural and historical legacy. It's a day of displays and 'hands on" interactive activities.
We encourage you to bring your class for a full day. Students staying all day should bring a bag lunch to eat at noon in the comfortable seating of the Arena. There will be a concession open on the upper floor of the Nutrien Centre during the lunch hour, should participants choose to purchase lunch or drinks.
WHEN: Wednesday, April 6, 2022 to Friday, April 8, 2022
HOURS: 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
WHERE: Stampede Park - Nutrien Western Event Centre and the Agriculture Building (across from the Nutrien Centre)
