Welcome to the Alberta Teachers’ Retirement Fund – working in partnership to secure your pension income.

ATRF is an independent corporation that serves as the trustee, administrator, and custodian of the pension assets of the Alberta Teachers' Pension Plans. Our mandate is to deliver the benefits established by the plan sponsors (the Alberta Teachers’ Association and the Government of Alberta) and to prudently invest the assets of the plans and set contribution rates with the objective of maintaining full funding over the long term at a cost and risk level acceptable to the sponsors.
