project AGRICULTURE

Virtual Booth
Project AGRICULTURE is a web-based resource, developed specifically for and with Alberta teachers and students. It provides free, curriculum-focused, interactive, engaging and classroom-ready activities and project ideas for elementary, junior and senior high students. Current and credible information about agriculture is reflected in five elementary and six junior/senior high topics, which provide activities and options that are directly correlated to Alberta Science, Social Studies and Health/Wellness curriculum.
Project AGRICULTURE provides flexibility for implementation. Our resources support project-based learning, with detailed Project Planners for each of the six junior and senior high topics. At the elementary level, each Project and Activity Teachers Guide includes a project challenge.
Check out our Downloads tab for quick access to our Project Planners for junior/senior high students. You can also download these, project design ideas and fillable graphic organizers on our website at https://www.projectagriculture.ca/share/project-guides/! Find out more about submitting a junior/senior high project on https://www.projectagriculture.ca/share/.
Our website also supports discrete one-to-two class activities. Carousel slides in each elementary and junior/senior high topic are designed as self-contained activities, with downloadable learning sources and activity handouts, photos, videos, infographics, discussion questions, embedded vocabulary supports and more. The image below shows just one example from a junior high topic on our website.
