Dr.Martine Tetreault is an Assistant professor in the department of Neuroscience atUniversité de Montreal and a researcher at the CRCHUM since January 2018. She completed her graduate studies in Molecular Biology atUniversité de Montreal and a post-doctoral fellow in Human Genetics at McGill University. As an independent researcher, Dr Tetreaulthas built a translational research program centered on combining multipleomic approaches with functional genomics to study neuromuscular and neurodegenerative diseases. Using this innovative approach, Dr Tetreault seeks to increase diagnostic yield and uncover novel mechanisms associated with disease progression as well as phenotypic variability to identify biomarkers or therapeutic targets. Dr Tetreault has been very productive with more than 50 publications and received funding from several private and governmental agencies, including a FRQS Junior 1 salary award.
