From the remote ice sheets of Greenland to the dense rain forests of the Amazon basin, climate and weather are inextricably linked.  We've all heard that global warming can increase the frequency and severity of weather events. But how, and why, and to what extent? And how can this complexity be effectively communicated to the general public? Dr. Jennifer Francis is a world-renowned climate researcher at Rutgers University, best known for her cutting-edge work on the influence of arctic warming on jet streams. Bob Lindmeier is chief meteorologist at ABC affiliate WKOW in Madison, Wisconsin, and often speaks about how climate change impacts are coming right into our backyards.
