Brian has been a CCL volunteer for 10 years, and has attended numerous town halls in Oregon. He was lead presenter on the 2017 Oregon Stewardship Tour, which traveled to cities in rural eastern, central, & southern Oregon in October 2017 to promote CCL. This year, his efforts were instrumental in leading a group of students to push Oregon Governor Kate Brown to sign a bold climate executive order aimed to cut Oregon’s greenhouse gas emissions. Over the past 8 years, Brian has given over 200 climate change talks in 11 different U.S. states, Ottawa Canada & Washington D.C. as a CCL volunteer, Climate Reality Leader, Toastmaster, and seasonal park ranger at Crater Lake National Park.
