Joelle Novey is the director of Interfaith Power & Light, which works with hundreds of congregations of many traditions across Maryland and the DC area to save energy, go green, and respond to climate change. Forty state Interfaith Power & Light programs are working to create a national religious response to climate change. Joelle participates in two independent Jewish communities, Tikkun Leil Shabbat and Minyan Segulah, and speaks widely in the region about the unique role faith communities can play in the climate movement.
