Piper Christian is 16 years and from Logan, Utah. She is a passionate advocate for youth environmental stewardship within her state. This past December she attended the COP21 United Nations Climate Summit in Paris, France as a junior news correspondent. While there, she interviewed individuals from 6 continents to learn how ordinary people can find extraordinary ways to combat climate change. As the president of the Logan Environmental Action Force, she has passed a Clean Air and Sustainability Resolution through the Logan City Council, and is working to pass similar resolutions in cities across her state. She has co-founded the Student Coalition for Institutional and Environmental Integrity, which empowers youth environmental awareness and activism throughout Utah. She appreciates the opportunity for youth inclusion within CCL.
