Madeleine’s role in CCL is to ensure the success of CCL’s chapters and programs. She started in CCL as a volunteer by founding the 25th chapter in Madison, Wisconsin, and then expanding CCL's presence across the state. She is committed to unleashing the initiative of as many people as possible to lead our government to act on climate. She’s served as program director since June 2013. Formerly, Madeleine taught kindergarten and first grade, and worked as the Executive Director for the Wisconsin National Organization for Women. She’s taught counseling and listening skills for over 30 years and has a Master of Arts in organizational development. All of her life experiences are turning out to be useful in her current role as CCL's program director!
