Matt works with businesses to build awareness and adoption of progressive corporate climate protection strategies. Matt strategically uses the brand power of the WWF brand to mobilize companies to participate in a range of successful partnership initiatives, including Climate Savers. Before joining WWF, Matt worked for AtKisson, Inc., where he developed sustainability indicators for the Island of Nantucket, the city of Pittsburgh, and the Trust for Public Land, and for the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI), where he was responsible for launching the greenhouse gas emissions inventory s for the City of Boston. Matt’s work was honored with a Business Sustainability Initiative award from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business. He graduated from The Colorado College with a B.A. in Political Economy from Sweden’s Lund University International Masters Programme in Sustainability Science & Policy.
