Dr. Tasha Reddy is CCL’s Regional Coordinator for the State of California. It is the only state that is a region itself. She joined CCL in 2013 when she heard Jim Hansen speak at NASA twice in one week. At that time, she co-founded CCL’s Silicon Valley North Chapter. She trained to give Climate Advocate Training Workshops and led the first two trainings in Nevada.

In addition to working for CCL, she is a professor at San Jose State University, where she teaches undergrads about climate science. Tasha has a PhD in oceanography from Stanford University and has completed postdoctoral work at NYU and NASA, studying climate change in the Arctic using supercomputers.
