Latinos represented 17.3% of total U.S. population in 2014. More than 85% want action on environmental issues, with more than 2/3 believing global warming and climate change are mostly caused by human activities. Surveys show a strong commitment to conservation, the environment, and genuine personal interest in how climate change impacts their families and communities. This session's panelists bring advice on reaching out to Latinos where you live, on reaching out to Latino organizations, and strategies for helping a new CCL group take root.
