Dr. Andrew McDonnell is an chemical oceanographer at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He teaches classes on oceanography, the effects of climate change on the oceans, and the role of the oceans in the climate system. His research focuses on the ocean’s carbon cycle, marine particles, and biogeochemistry. He also serves as a group leader of the Fairbanks chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby.
