Puertorrican climate activist and PhD student in Atmospheric Chemistry at Rutgers University. She has been awarded the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship to study the pathways, impacts and policies of aerosol that affect Earth energy budget. The focus on her research has included the socio-economical impacts of climate change. She has worked as the coordinator of the Latino Climate Action Network in Puerto Rico, empowering communities on multi-sectorial climate resilience for a sustainable future through innovative outreach campaigns. Also has collaborated, in the role of intern, for the Citizens' Climate Engagement Network of the Citizens' Climate Lobby organization. Has taken part of the Climate Tracker movement to raise awareness of climate change policy efforts through journalism. Additionally is the founder of the Climate Trace organization that works to create purposeful interactive experiences that empower and promote climate-friendly attitudes locally and abroad.
