He served as Art Director for EA, Concept Lead for Hasbro, and collaborated with many best-selling-authors for his trio of Literary Pin-Up Calendars. His new game with Jonathan Tweet and Rob Heinsoo is called 13th Age, and his Lovecraft-inflected board game, The Doom That Came to Atlantic City is published through Renegade Games. He spent a decade as a Docent & Naturalist Illustrator at the Smithsonian Institution and the New York Times nominated his work for a Webby in 1999.

Lee brings his knowledge and love of Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Arts & Crafts, the Pre-Raphaelites, and classical illustration to his book and DVD covers, his many theatrical posters, as well as his daily Small Gods Series.

He travels for gallery shows, to teach and lecture. He plays a mean game of Scrabble
