Operations or Ops help make stuff happen. We help you find information, find other fan groups, and purchase CoNZealand Merchandise. We’re even managing the Official Parties!


Events runs the biggest events of the convention as well as the Film Festival. We will be contactable on events@conzealand.nz between 08:00 and 22:00 NZT hours

Exhibits brings you the cyberspace Exhibit Hall, which is Dealers Hall (items, including art, for sale), Art Show (primarily display of art), plus a range of amusing and educational exhibits about our genre, our fandom and New Zealand in our Displays area. Find us via your browser -- on web pages and our 3D Squid Hall.

Finance is the division that deals with budgeting and treasury for the convention. We're the people who run the bank account, take the money for your membership and use that money to pay the bills that allow the other divisions' activities to happen. Most members won't need to interact directly with our Finance team, but if they do, we can be contacted by email on Finance@conzealand.nz. During the convention, we expect to be online and answering queries from 09:00-18:00 NZT.

Member Services

Access & Listeners will be available during core CoNZealand hours, with After Hours Listeners staffed on a best effort basis.

The Programme Division organises, schedules, and monitors all presentations, meetings, panels, workshops, games, and the rest of our lives. You can reach us by emailing programme@conzealand.nz (we will be on duty between 08:00 and 23:00 NZT), and we will expect to have a staff member attending most programme items on the schedule to assist.

Promotions looks after CoNZealand's social media, public website content, and the convention press office. You can reach the team at Promotions-DH@conzealand.nz during the regular convention operating hours.

The Publications Division is responsible for creating the print titles of the convention, such as the Souvenir Book, and including the print-at-home publications like playbills and the newsletter. The newsletter is scheduled to go out around 10:00, 15:00, and 20:00 NZT time daily. Exceptions: there likely won’t be a morning newsletter on the opening day or an evening newsletter on the closing day.

You are all crew members on our journey into uncharted stars, so please log your observations on our trip for others to see at #log-entries on our Discord server. Some of these will be compiled into a downloadable Cruise Log, which will be available three times daily on our voyage.

The Registration Division is responsible for issuing memberships, and adding members to our registration database. You must be a registered member of the convention to attend our events and programming, or join our Discord server.
