New York Times bestselling novelist Garth Nix has been a full-time writer since 2001, but has also worked as a literary agent, marketing consultant, book editor, book publicist, book sales representative, bookseller, and as a part-time soldier in the Australian Army Reserve. He has written numerous books including Angel Mage; the Old Kingdom series beginning with Sabriel; the Keys to the Kingdom series; Frogkisser! and many others. He also writes short fiction, with over 60 stories published in anthologies and magazines.
Garth has won the Aurealis Award multiple times, the Ditmar Award and the Mythopoeic Award, among others. He has been shortlisted for the Locus Award multiple times, and for the Shirley Jackson Award.
More than six million copies of his books have been sold around the world and his work has been translated into 42 languages.
