
Susana Polo began her career at Abrams Media, where she founded the feminism-forward fan entertainment site TheMarySue.com. She has since pivoted to covering her true passion, as the comics editor of Polygon.com, Vox Media's entertainment news vertical. As a queer Latina, Susana strives to be a positive force for inclusion, diversity, and better working conditions in her field and the field she covers. She also runs a twitter account that tweets the events of The Lord of the Rings on the calendar dates on which they occured.
