Bill Capossere

adjunct English instructor

Bill Capossere reviews regularly for fantasyliterature.com and irregularly at Tor.com, where he also co-wrote a multi-year reread of the Malazan Empire series. His own work (short fiction and non-fiction) has appeared in journals and anthologies such as Colorado ReviewAlaska Quarterly ReviewIn Short, and Man in the Moon. and been recognized with several Pushcart nominations and mentions in the “notable essays” section of multiple Best American Essays. His full-length plays have received readings at GEVA’s Festival of New Plays and shorter works have been performed at the Rochester Fringe Festival. He spent 15 years teaching high school English, took two years off to stay with his young son (who is impossibly about to leave for college), then became an adjunct instructor. He lives in Rochester NY, where he writes, bikes to work, and plays ultimate frisbee (though slower and closer to the ground than he once did).
