Tim Jones is a poet and author of both science fiction and literary fiction who was awarded the New Zealand Society of Authors Janet Frame Memorial Award for Literature in 2010. He lives in Wellington, New Zealand. Tim has had one fantasy novel, two speculative short story collections and four poetry collections published. His most recent poetry collection is New Sea Land (Mākaro Press, 2016). He has co-edited two poetry anthologies: Voyagers: Science Fiction Poetry from New Zealand (Interactive Press, 2009), co-edited with Mark Pirie, which won the “Best Collected Work” category in the 2010 Sir Julius Vogel Awards, and The Stars Like Sand: Australian Speculative Poetry (Interactive Press, 2014), co-edited with P S Cottier. He is a member of the Science Fiction Poetry Association. His climate fiction (cli-fi) novella Where We Land has recently been published by The Cuba Press. He is currently working on a near-future climate fiction novel.
