
Diane has been in SF fandom since the late 70s and was involved for many years with Edmonton, Alberta's NonCon convention, and the Pure Speculation (also Edmonton). She is a founding member of the Copper Pig Writers' Society, publisher of On Spec Magazine, and currently serves as Managing Editor. Diane is also a founding member of Canada's Sunburst Award, an annual juried prize for excellence in Literature of the Fantastic. She lives near Edmonton, Alberta with fellow fan and husband Rick LeBlanc, and three entitled cats.
