Anne-Louise Fortune is a theatre-maker, a cultural correspondent, and in that awkward year between completing her MA, and beginning her PhD. Anne loves Australian culture. She likes Aussie theatre so much that in 2017 she produced the English premiere of 'Murder at Warrabah House', a one-woman show that related the tale of a country-house murder. TV Detective shows with strong female leads is one of Anne's interests, and so she loves 'Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries', and its 60's set spin-off, 'Ms Fisher's Modern Murder Mysteries'. It might not come as much of a surprise to learn that Anne's MA dissertation was about the Sydney Olympic Games Opening Ceremony. The hopefully forthcoming PhD research will focus on the formal ceremonies and other public performances that took place in 1901 when the Federation of Australia occurred.
