Christopher Gee

Concert Sound Engineer, Writer, Photographer, Student (Development / Writing / Philosophy)
Participates in 1 Session

Chris Gee spent two decades touring the world with bands as a sound engineer before attempting (and so far failing) to diversify out of the music business, in order to look after his eight-year-old identical twin girls, pursue his academic and literary passions, and spend more time indoors with less heavy lifting. He has had short fiction published and written a science-fiction novel that is just about to be released out into the world called The Light Witness. He fell down the rabbit hole of philosophy and so far hasn't managed to climb his way out with any kind of coherence. He is a staunch Rawlsian, almost certainly an Epistemological Contextualist (excuse the pun), mostly a Consequentialist (which some say conflicts with Rawls), is something of a wannabe Stoic and a bitterly failed Epicurean (both of whom used to be a war with each other). Chris is fascinated by the nature of our reality and our politic. He is kept awake at night trying to come up with ways to lubricate the acceptance of Sustainable Flourishing as the most universal rubric of success we can judge our actions by. He is also, unashamedly, a geek.
