Ty is trained/certified in Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, and Yin Yoga (Yoga Alliance YA500E) as well as Kundalini Yoga with Kundalini Research Institute and International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Assc (KRI, IKYTA). For many years, Ty has have maintained a yoga teaching schedule at yoga studios and wellness centers. Ty leads Accessible Yoga classes for people in early stages of dementia who enjoy the practice to help with physical and mental flexibility, as well as an emotional boost. Recently, Ty was presented with an opportunity to work with Parkinson's patients who can use Accessible Yoga to ward off the advancement of the disease symptoms. Recently, Ty created a class series called HypnoYoga for Weight Loss, a form of Accessible Yoga designed to work with weight issues. Ty is on the Board of a Mindfulness Center, where he educates people in the techniques and benefits of Mindfulness, leads groups in Mindful practice, and promotes Mindfulness to the public.
