
Dylan Horrocks is a cartoonist and writer based in Wellington. His books include the graphic novels Hicksville and Sam Zabel & the Magic Pen, and a collection of short comics, Incomplete Works. He also drew the comic book series Pickle and Atlas and has written comics for DC and Vertigo, including Hunter: the Age of Magic and Batgirl. His short stories have been published in anthologies including Lady Chatterley's Rosebud Wristlet, Steampunk! and Monstrous Affections. His comics and prose fiction have won an Eisner Award, a Sir Julius Vogel Award, and a NZ Arts Foundation Laureate Award and he has written extensively about comics, fantasy, and Role-Playing Games. He currently teaches comics and visual narrative at the Victoria University of Wellington School of Design Innovation - Te Kura Hoahoa.
