SFF is and can be used a a vehicle to question "normalcy" and espouse tolerance and heterogenity, both physical and mental. However, it ts also common to introduce technological "cures," which restore characters to a perceived "normalcy" in speculative fiction. Should and could SFF become more inclusive?
