Course Description: This course is designed for comprehensive ophthalmology, ophthalmology residents and Fellows, who wish to expand their surgical skills to optimize glaucoma care for their patients. Surgeons will learn best patient candidates for MIGS devices, understand better angel anatomy/landmarks and learn implantation techniques. At the end of the is course participation should be comfortable incorporation MIGS into their clinical practice. 

 

 

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Understand angle anatomy and landmarks. 
  2. Identify the best candidates for MIGS surgery.
  3. Demonstrate the comprehensive understanding and practical application of the implantation technique

STCs are accredited for Royal College MOC Section 3 credits.
