How:
This study is part of the cultural-historical theory that has been developed by Vygotsky and analyzed from a microgenetic approach, the importance of egocentric speech as a mediator of memory actions in ungraduated students.
The present work has been framed in a qualitative trend, with a correlational scope, which made use of an experimental situation favoring the use of egocentric and social speech.
In a general way, we have found that ungraduated students use as support the strategies given in educational institutions, such as categorization and classification, for which reason most of the students easily remember words displayed in an experimental situation. At this moment, data analyses are being conducted. Results and conclusions will be presented at the Congress.
