Lucy Mukerjee-Brown is a film producer and programmer, an LGBTQ activist and an advocate for minority filmmakers.  
In January 2015, Lucy joined Outfest as the Director of Programming, where she is responsible for the programming of Outfest Los Angeles, Outfest Fusion, and NewFest, as well as overseeing the Legacy Project, the Screenwriting Lab and OutSet. She previously programmed for the Long Beach LGBTQ Film Festival, QFilms, and the Los Angeles Film Festival as well as being a Screener for the Sundance Film Festival. 
Lucy has a decade of experience as a Producer, having produced 20+ feature films for Lionsgate and Warner Bros. She also curated the bestselling independent film series Horrorfest: 8 Films To Die For. Her latest feature film Jack Of The Red Hearts won the Grand Jury Prize at Geena Davis' inaugural Bentonville Film Festival and was released nationwide by AMC theaters earlier this year.
Lucy is a two-time Film Independent fellow, having been selected for both Project Involve and the Producing Lab. She is on the Selection Committee for the Independent Spirit Awards and the Lambda Literary Awards, and is a proud member of BAFTA and the Producers Guild of America.
