David Casey

David Casey is the Vice President of Production at ITVS and joined the organization in 2017. He is an award-winning executive producer, director, writer, editor and showrunner, now responsible for day-to-day operations of active co-productions, working across all broadcast and digital content as well as leading multiplatform expansion efforts. David comes to ITVS with more than 15-years of industry experience at History Channel, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, Current TV, Vice Media, and was previously vice president of production and development for MoxieTV, Moxie Pictures non-fiction television arm. He has served as executive producer and showrunner for Ocean Warriors and Ice Cold Gold; worked with Vice President Al Gore to produce the Greenland segment of An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power, directed by Bonni Cohen and Jon Shenk; produced such VR films as Melting Ice for Danfung Dennis's Condition One with Participant Pictures; and directed the series of spots for Intel on Polar Bear tracking through drone technology, entitled Above the Arctic: An Intel Drone Expedition. He earned a Bachelor's degree from Hunter College and certificate in film production from New York University.
