Heidi Reinberg most recently produced the ITVS-co-production 93Queen, which was released theatrically via Abramorama before airing on POV in September.  93Queen was awarded the inaugural first look Pitch Fund prize at the 2017 Hot Docs Forum, leading to co-production deals with arte SWR and yesDocu.

The Hollywood Reporter said about 93Queen, “Forget Supergirl and Wonder Woman.  To see a real female superhero in action, check out Paula Eiselt’s documentary concerning the creation of an all-female, Hasidic EMT Corps.”  The New York Times called the film “heartening, ultimately inspiring,” while Kenneth Turran of the LA Times praised the film as “intimate, engaging . . . both surprising and deeply satisfying.”

Previously, Reinberg developed the nonfiction series War Photographers/Exposure with Ross Kauffman for NBCUniversal, and produced Cynthia Wade’s first two films, Grist for the Mill and Shelter Dogs for Cinemax and HBO, respectively.  She also served as consulting producer on Mai Iskander’s two feature docs, Garbage Dreams (Independent Lens) and Words of Witness (Al Jazeera America).

In addition to her work in the feature-doc space, Reinberg has traveled the world directing numerous episodes of the cult favorite HGTV series House Hunters International. She also develops series for branded-content powerhouse Theorem Studios.
