Marcia produces and directs and writes documentaries shorts and features for PatchWorks Films, with co-director, co-producer, and editor-husband Ken Schneider). She also consults on production and engagement, recently working on the Academy Award nominee "LAST DAY OF FREEDOM," HBO’s Emmy-nominated 50 CHILDREN, AND THEN THEY CAME FOR US, and THE LAST SEASON.
PatchWorks is currently in post-production on LOS HERMANOS/THE BROTHERS, the story of Cuban born virtuosos, divided by geopolitics but united by music (ITVS, LPB, and NEA) Other recent work includes two shorts tracking Cuba's evolution through the arts: LA RUEDA DE LA VIDA and IT'S ONLY ROCK N' ROLL. HAVANA CURVEBALL is PatchWorks' most recent feature—a coming of age tale about Cuba, baseball, and family. It won Best Documentary at the Boston and Seattle Children’s film festivals, and the Jury Prize at Olympia International Film Festival in Greece.
