Duong-Chi Do has over 20 years of experience organizing and leading grassroots community engagement initiatives tackling a wide range of issues including gender equity, racial justice, health, and education. Chi served for 11 years as director of engagement & impact for ITVS, where she oversaw Indie Lens Pop-Up, a civic engagement initiative that mobilizes community leaders, service organizations, and public television stations in over 75 cities to address critical social issues at the local level. Prior to joining ITVS, Chi worked with APPEAL, where she launched a national youth leadership program providing mentorship and training to high school students, resulting in more than 100 youth-led projects fighting Big Tobacco influence across the U.S. and Pacific Islands.
