
Gabriella Garcia Pardo
Gabriella Garcia-Pardo is a Colombian-American documentary filmmaker and cinematographer based in Washington, D.C. Focused on conservation, social issues, and artists, she strives to bring the interesting and hopeful to light.
Gabriella has contributed as a cinematographer to Showtime’s The Fourth Estate, an upcoming Netflix series with director Karim Amer, National Geographic Magazine, TIME’s Firsts series, independent feature documentary films, and The Dodo, among others. Gabriella has been funded by the IWMF, BAVC, and Filmmakers Without Borders and has been recognized by the Webby's and the White House News Photographers Association.
Previously, she produced award-winning short-form documentaries at National Geographic's News and Magazine unit, filmed over 150 musicians on NPR’s music team, and designed an intensive summer film program for high school students at Yale. Gabriella is a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design and is the founder and director of the DC Video Consortium chapter. Before moving to Washingon, she led trail guides in Chile and sometimes very much misses her days on horseback in the mountains.
