Karen Hori has been working as a creative producer, production and development executive in television for over 25 years. As a senior executive with Langley Productions (“COPS”), she oversees current production, and is focused on developing projects by and about women. She served as Co-Producer on award-winning feature documentary Limited Partnership, directed by Thomas G. Miller, which premiered at the 2015 LA Film Festival before airing on Independent Lens in 2016. She is currently a producer on feature doc Trans*Formed, director Lisa Leeman’s follow-up to her groundbreaking film Metamorphosis, and Imagining a Better World, a VR experience for the Massillon Museum in Ohio featuring holocaust survivor Nelly Toll, directed by diane estelle Vicari and Robert Kirk. Karen is a member of the Television Academy and the Producers Guild of America, and serves on the IDA Board of Directors.
