Sara Archambault is a Creative Producer dedicated to the craft of artful nonfiction storytelling. With an extensive professional history in production, programming and foundation work, she is currently the Program Director at the LEF Foundation, and Programmer/Co-founder of the award-winning documentary film series The DocYard. Past credits include Associate Producer on Emmy-nominated documentary Traces of the Trade: A Story From the Deep North, Producer on Christopher Lydon's radio show/podcast Radio Open Source, Producer on Sundance-supported documentary Street Fighting Men, and Producer on the short doc Community Patrol, winner of the Mini Doc prize at Big Sky Documentary Film Festival and the Special Jury Prize at IFFBoston. Sara's work has received support from IFP's Spotlight on Documentary, Hot Docs International Pitch Forum, SFFilm, Film Independent, Stella Artois/Women in Film Finishing Fund, CPH:FORUM and the Sundance Documentary Fund. She is frequently an advisor, juror, and panelist with film festivals and foundations like Camden International Film Festival, RIDM, Chicken & Egg and the NEA. Sara is a 2013 Sundance Creative Producers Lab Fellow and was sited among the "Ten to Watch" in 2013 by The Independent.
