
Sweta Vohra
Sweta Vohra is a journalist and filmmaker based in NYC. She was most recently a producer/director on The Weekly, the New York Times' documentary television series on FX and Hulu. Before that, she spent 8 years as a producer/director on Al Jazeera English’s documentary series, Fault Lines, where she covered race and criminal justice as well as science and technology stories. Her work at Fault Lines received awards from RTDNA, NABJ, the Society of Environmental Journalists as well as three News and Documentary Emmy nominations. Prior to joining Fault Lines, she produced a film on rising Hindu nationalism in India called Pink Chaddis. Sweta has a master's degree in journalism from the University of California, Berkeley.
