NEH Funding: Tips from Filmmakers and the NEH

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) is a major funder of documentary films. Through the Division of Public Programs, the NEH has awarded more than $140 million over the last two decades to filmmakers. How does the NEH decide what to fund?
