The National Minority Consortia (NMC) were formed in the American public media system with the vision of diversity as a common good. Black Public Media (BPM), the Center for Asian American Media (CAAM), Latino Public Broadcasting (LPB), Pacific Islanders in Communication (PIC) and Vision Maker Media each serve their communities and the greater goal of diversity and inclusion in their work within the public media sphere and beyond. Come hear how the NMC champions the next generation of storytellers and builds new partnerships. Let’s find new ways to create opportunities for makers and others to strategize with us.
