Sheri Candler is a digital marketing strategist and media buyer. She was the Manager of Audience Engagement for the Public Media Group of Southern California (KCET/PBS SoCal/ Link TV), launching many award-winning series such as Broken Bread with Roy Choi, Artbound, Earth Focus, and the investigative news program SoCal Connected on social media platforms and executing promotional partnerships with talent and organizations. She also works with independent producers to formulate marketing plans and execute social media campaigns for their projects. Most recently, she worked with PBS American Masters on their Emmy nomination campaign; the Fetzer Memorial Trust with the online launch of the film “Infinite Potential: The Life and Ideas of David Bohm;” and she is working on the promotional team for the upcoming documentary NASRIN, about prominent Iranian human rights lawyer, Nasrin Sotoudeh, who was sentenced to 38 years in prison and 148 lashes because of her work defending women's rights in Iran. She also works on the team of THE FILM COLLABORATIVE, the first nonprofit focused on distribution-education for filmmakers.
