Nesa Azimi is an independent filmmaker living in New York City. She started out as an intern at The Maysles Documentary Center and has been on staff as a director and producer for Fault Lines, Al Jazeera, Nat Geo, the Ciné Institute of Haiti, and Rain Media, PBS FRONTLINE. Nesa is a Sundance Institute Humanities Sustainability Fellow, ('22-'23) and a former fellow with the Firelight Documentary Lab, ‘19–’21, and the Points North Institute, ‘19. Her work has received support from Catapult, Doc Society, IDA, SFFILM, and TFI, among others. DRIVER will be her first feature film.
