Sumaiya Ananna is the Founder of UNIQUE SIGNATURE FILMS. A filmmaker, an educator and completed her MA from Johns Hopkins University in Film/Media Studies. She has worked on the sets of House of Cards, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, The Voice, along with Sesame Workshop, Producers Guild of America, SAG-AFTRA, WGA and the Tribeca Film Institute. Sumaiya is on the screening committee for the Maryland Film Festival, Loudoun Arts Film, Woodstock Film Festival and has programmed the first virtual Movie Industry Conference at the Bushwick Film Festival. She believes in paying it forward and mentors students via JHU’s network, OneHop Mentoring.
