How:
This session seeks to start strategizing radical inclusion and representation within documentary spaces in South Asia and steps forward to build regional solidarity from a decolonization and anti-war framework within documentary filmmaking. Attendees include filmmakers, institutions, collectives and festivals. We will look closely at issues that affect the South Asian documentary community on a regional and international level, specifically: 1) Institutional solidarity with systemically oppressed and marginalized filmmakers and communities 2) Building region-wide industry and artistic cooperation.
